Description
These scissors are traditionally made almost exclusively in North Spain for the itinerant octopus sellers – in the traditional country markets or “feiras” in Galicia. “Pulpo a la feira” is a delicacy here, served on wooden platters with generous amount of olive oil and paprika on top, accompanied by a bread barra and local wine.
The raw quality of the metal and the way it ages (reminding us of the Japanese concept of waabi sabi) and the small irregularities in the form of the handles make these scissors quite unique.
